Great customer service is our mantra. In the rare event that you have a problem with our product, we will work hard to resolve the problem quickly and to your satisfaction.
If you need to send an item back for any reason, please visit http://www.jacobsparts.com/rma You will be asked a few simple questions and be provided with instructions for obtaining a replacement or refund.
We are available by phone Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST at 800-738-7120 and through skype.
- All sales include a 30 day unconditional return policy and a one year warranty.
- A buyer may return an item for an exchange or refund for any reason within 30 days of receipt of the item.
- If there is nothing wrong with the item and the buyer wants a refund, the seller will issue full refund less actual shipping cost which is usually around $5. The buyer will also be responsible for the cost of sending the item back.
- If there is a problem with the item and the buyer would like to exchange the item, the seller will be responsible for the cost of sending the item back and shipping a replacement.
- The seller will only reimburse the buyer for return shipping costs up to the original cost of shipping the item to the buyer.
- If the problem is a result of the buyer purchasing the wrong item, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of sending the item back and for the cost of shipping a replacement.
- If there is a problem with the item and the buyer would like to return the item for a refund, the seller will issue a full refund of the sale total including shipping and handling. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of sending the item back.
- A buyer may return a defective or failed item for an exchange within one year of receipt of the item.
- A buyer may not return an item for a cash refund after 30 days of receipt of the item.
- If the item fails after 30 days of receipt of the item but within one year, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of sending the item back. The seller will be responsible for the cost of shipping a replacement.
- The definition of "problem" and "fails" is limited to the following for AC power adapters:
- The AC adapter fails to provide adequate power to the device
- The AC adapter does not fit the advertised device
- The wrong type of US power cord was provided.
- The power cord was missing.
- The AC adapter arrived damaged.
- There are serious manufacturing defects
- The warranty does not cover physical damage to the adapter. Physical damage includes:
- Shorts or frays in the cord which develop after use. (Always wrap the cord loosely and be gentle with the cord)
- Damage to the connector tip. (Never pull the connector out by the cord)
- Damage to the AC connector prongs. (Avoid excessive unplugging and replugging of the cord. It's best to transport the unit with the power cord plugged in.)

- Any preexisting physical defects are certainly covered as long as the adapter is returned unused within 30 days of your purchase.
- If the buyer attempts to deceive the seller, all warranty terms will be null and void. Deception may include but is not limited to:
- Damaging an item and trying to pass the damage off as a manufacturing defect
- Returning a different item than was received
- If a buyer files a dispute with paypal or attempts to receive a chargeback for an item without contacting the seller first, all return and warranty provisions are null and void.
